In a haunting series of semi-abstract portraits of female models, a fascinating blend of figurative and abstract textures create subtle hints of facial features. The eyes, nose, lips, and blurred outline of the face emerge through the abstract brushwork which - in an almost magical way - serve as foreground as well as background.
